Acta Sanctorum

A year of the saints, a day at a time. Drawn from the great Bollandist Acta Sanctorum, this devotional gathers three hundred and fifteen lives — from January 1 to November 10 — and gives each saint a single page: who they were, what they suffered, and what the Church remembered.

The lives are rendered from the Bollandist Latin into plain, readable English, lightly modernised and shaped for daily reading rather than reference. It is a companion in print to the full digital reading edition at actasanctorum.org.
